Dear Diary

         The latest on me is I went on a cruise with family and had a nice time. I was able to shop, stay up late in the library, eat a lot and more. Now that I’m back, I saw a lot of cultural differences that made me think looking and dressing apart isn’t so bad after all. I must admit I love the way Muslims dress. 
          It’s my third day wearing a little kerchief as a head covering. It’s not perfect. I miss my long hair now but it’s a symbol to the world that I have a covering for now until my natural covering grows out more. 
         I cried so hard last night. I live on my own and I hate it. My roommate likes to put the air on when it’s cold outside and heat on when it’s warm outside. I’m miserable but I can’t go back home because I have behavioral and mental health issues. It’s horrible. I can’t ever seem to grow up.
