enchantedsnowforestI worked four days this week. I worked 3 hour shifts for three days. I also worked one four hour shift. It was pretty amazing. I'm very proud of making $140 this week. It's not much but it's not bad either. I'm hoping that Winn Dixie doesn't shut down and become Aldi's because I don't think with my handicaps that I can do the work. Aldi's grocery store is extremely fast paced. You have to not only cashier but stock shelves at the same time. Aldi's also only has two cashiers. Winn Dixie had several cashiers and baggers. It's insane how many baggers are there.
If I have to find another job where I work six hour shifts, I may shift to cleaning hospital rooms. I've heard it's not bad to work there because people don't have to work as fast there. My Mom is a nurse and she says can take your time cleaning five to six rooms at a time. It's insane. I would love to do that and say hello to patients every day. I would have to soak my feet a lot and refrain from using my back but I would love the atmosphere.
