It was my first 7 1/2 hour shift in years. I was only doing 4 hour shifts but now they gave me more. Tomorrow and Wednesday, for the holidays. I work 7 1/2 hours too! I'm both excited and dreading it. My feet are in a lot of pain due my first 7 1/2 hour shift. I've been using this roll on gel bottle called BioFreeze and it works wonders! You roll gel cap on your skin anywhere there's pain and it releases a cooling sensation all over your skin. It's a lot of money. I think it's $12 but it works!

I hardly did any bagging groceries today. I was bummed out about that. The management kept sending me out to collect more grocery carts! It was nice to get grocery carts but I love bagging groceries and talking to the cashiers and customers. Oh well. It's a job and I'm not the boss. My bosses are the boss. If Winn Dixie grocery store in my city shuts down and turns into Aldi's I'm going to be really sad but I had a good run. I got by for a year only working 3 hour shifts due to vocational rehabilitation - a disability agency asking that they reduce my hours due to my disabilities.

I ended up hating it. I only worked 3-4 hours once a week. It was good because it didn't take much out of my disability check but it was bad because I wasn't doing much but being stuck around the house. I do have a disability. I had a brain injury so it makes it where my reflexes are too slow to drive vehicles. Believe or not, I have learning disabilities as well. I have a high reading comprehension in English but with Math, I stop at about 3rd Grade level. It's hard to explain but if you google something called "mixed intelligence" that's what I have. Anyway, that's not a spill to feel sorry for me. It's just explaining how I am.

Anyway, I got to go.

Signing off.
